PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. - Gavin Hall from Pittsford, NY fired an impressive final round 65 on the Champ course at PGA National to win the weather shortened 2-day event by two over Tyler Stachkunas. Midway through the final round Hall made 5 birdies in a row which opened up a 4 shot lead that would not be touched. He earned $3,200 from the $28,240 purse for his 22nd win on the MLGT.
The event was shortened to 27 holes due to a 2.5 hour weather delay on day one.
31 of the 81 players chose to enter the Qualifying School Contest #3 presented by Britto & Herman Injury Lawyers. Gavin Hall won the contest and the $5k bonus to use for Q-School. Tyler Stachkunas finished 2nd and earned $1,200 to use towards his Q-School.

MLGT policy states that at least half of the scheduled starting holes (18 of 36 in this case) must be completed to be an official event. Hopefully Mother Nature will cooperate during Thursday's final round.
