Jorge Villar outlasts Mark Goetz in extra holes to win at Fountains CC

Domenico Geminiani won Monday Qualifier Contest #7 with a 3-day cumulative total of 200 (63-70-67)

LAKE WORTH, Fla. - Jorge Villar from Mexico won on the 3rd playoff hole after he and Mark Goetz tied in regulation at 5-under par 66 on the West course at Fountains CC. They exchanged pars on the first two playoff holes then on the par-5 3rd Goetz's tee shot found the out of bounds left of the fairway. After Villar knocked it on the par-5 in two Goetz conceeded.

Villar earned $1,513 for his 4th win on the MLGT. Goetz earned $1,013 for the 2nd place finish and has on MLGT win.

Today's event was the final of three this week that made up 2025 Monday Qualifier Contest #7 presented by Abacoa Golf Club. Domenico Geminiani fired 200 (63-70-67) to earn the $1k bonus to go compete in a Monday Qualifier on the PGA Tour or Korn Ferry Tour.
