PALM CITY, Fla. - John Houchin from Merritt Island, FL fired 134 (65-69) to win 2026 Qualifying School Contest #5 at Banyan Creek Golf Club.
Houchin started the final round one shot in front and it would never get closer than that. He stretched his lead to four midway through the back nine and a meaningless bogey at the last didn't change anything. He finished three shots clear of the field.

29 of the 60 players chose to enter the optional $200 Qualifying School Contest. Houchin earned the $5k bonus to put towards his Q-School entry fee this fall. Todd Duncan, Chase Haygood and Chris Nido tied for 2nd and split the $800 2nd place prize, earning $270 each.
