NORTH PALM BEACH, Fla. – Terry Burke of Bethesda, Md., won with a par on the first playoff hole Thursday to earn his first senior division title on the Fuzion Minor League Golf Tour.
Burke and Warren Jurkowitz of Aventura matched one under par 70s at North Palm Beach Country Club, each with four birdies and three bogeys. In the playoff, it took Jurkowitz two shots to escape a greenside bunker, allowing Burke to win with a two-putt par from 25 feet,
Jurkowitz won his fourth senior event Wednesday at West Palm Beach Golf Club. Burke earned an open division title on Sept. 2. He tied for fifth overall here Thursday.
