PALM CITY, Fla. – Matthew Myskowski eagled the first hole and birdied the last two Wednesday at The Evergreen Club enroute to winning for the first time on the Fuzion-Minor League Golf Tour.
Myskowski, 21, of Palm City, finished with a seven under par 65 to win by four strokes, adding birdies at Nos. 5, 6, 13 and 15 and a bogey at the par-5 11th hole. It was his 26th MLGT start since Jan, 2009. He earned $650 from the $2,906 yards.
Sal Spallone Vero Beach tied for second place with Bobby Collins of Palm Beach Gardens. Collins now trails Q-School Contest Leader Jimmy Lytle by $231.50.
There was $160 in the skins pot with 3 skins out worth $53.34 each.
