WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – Geoff Lee of Palm Beach Gardens, earned his first GOLFslinger.com victory on Thursday by shooting a 4-under par 68 at Ironhorse Country Club. He finished birdied, par to gain a one shot advage over Ben Silverman of Thornhill, Ontario, and Tyler Kitson of New Providence, NJ who had already finished at 3-under par 69 and were warming up for a possible playoff.
Geoff Lee birdied the par-3 third, par-5 sixth, par-5 fourteenth and the par-4 seventeenth hole. He had no bogeys.
Last week Ben Silverman won the second of ten $1,000 Nationwide Monday contests and last month Tyler Kitson was the sole GOLFslinger.com Tour survivor of the Golf Pride auditions.
