Cole Castro fires 136 (69-67) to win by one at Okeeheelee GC

First round leader added 70 to his opening round 67 to finish 2nd alone

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - Cole Castro from Homestead, FL fired 136 (69-67) to win by one on the Eagle/Osprey course at Okeeheelee GC. He earned $2,000 for his 6th win on the MLGT.

First round leader Jared Nelson birdied the final hole for 70 to add to his opening round 67 to finish solo 2nd. Aidan Kramer had the low round of the event with a final round 66 to jump up into 3rd place.

In a second day shootout Tuesday among players who shot 73 or higher Monday, Larry Blatt won $150 with a final round score of 70.

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - Jared Nelson from Rutland, VT fires an opening round of 3-under par 67 to take a 2 shot lead into Tuesday's final round. He overcame bogies on 1,10 and 14 with birdies on 2,6,12,13,17 and 18. He looks to earn his first win on the MLGT on Tuesday.

Jeffrey Cunningham, Paul DiFranco III and Cole Castro are tied for second after opening rounds of 69.
