VERO BEACH, Fla. - Ty Celone from Long Sault, Ontario and Tyler Jones from Westerville, OH fired 134 (66-68) to tie for the win in 2026 Qualifying School Contest #1 at Sandridge Golf Club.
Both men shared the first round lead at 6-under par 66 and both went out in 3-under par 33 on the front side. Jones birdied the par-3 14th to take a one shot lead which is where they stood on the final hole. Celone two putted for birdie on the par-5 finishing hole leaving Jones with a 10 foot birdie putt for the win. When his birdie putt slide by the right edge the two men were declared co-champions as darkness prevented a playoff.
