MIAMI LAKES, Fla. - Korn Ferry Tour member Ricardo Celia from Miami, FL did not make a bogey en route to 66 and his 14th win on the MLGT. His birdies came at 4,6,9,12,14 and 15 but the win came on an impressive par on the par-3 17th. His tee shot found the front bunker and burried in the sand. He hit an incredible shot to 2 feet to save par and secure the win. He earned $900 from the $3,260 purse. Celia is playing off of conditional status this year on the Korn Ferry Tour and is home practicing awaiting his next start.
Ryan Celano and Tyler Collet tied for 2nd one shot behind. Collet is getting ready to head to Bandon Dunes in Oregon next month to try to defend his title in the PGA Professional Championship.
Congratulations to Griffin Steutel for making a hole in one with a 7 iron on the 178 yard par-3 17th!
Next on the schedule is a 36 hole event Tues-Wed at Atlantic National GC in Lake Worth.
