JUPITER, Fla. - Talented 16 year olf amateur Ryan Nana Tanke from Palm Beach Gardens, FL outlasted a 3 hour weather delay and Austin Lemieux (a) to earn his first win on the MLGT. Ryan overcame a lone bogey on #11 with birdies on 1,2,4,8,10,12,14 and 18 for a 7-under par 64. Playing 5 groups behind Ryan, talented Mid-Am Austin Lemieux birdied 5 of the last 6 including a 35 foot bomb on the last to tie Ryan at 64. After a 3 hour weather delay the field finished and the two men headed to extra holes. Both hit great 2nd shots on the first to 6 and 5 feet. Ryan was first from 6 feet and missed just on the high side. Austin had a 5 footer for birdie and the win but missed just on the low side. On the long par-4 second, Ryan had a 20 footer for birdie while Austin missed the green and chipped it to 10 feet. After Ryan's birdie bid missed just low he tapped in for par. Austin then hit a good putt for par to extend but it would catch the high side lip and making Ryan the winner.

The first place check was $1,300 however the maximum Ryan is allowed to accept per USGA rules is $1,000 so the remaining $300 was distributed throughout the remainder of the players that earned a check per MLGT policy.

Today's event was the first of two this week that make up 2026 Monday Qualifier Contest #5 presented by Abacoa Golf Club. The low score for the three days will earn a $1k bonus to go compete in a Monday Qualifier on the PGA Tour or Korn Ferry Tour. Here is how we stand entering the second day at PGA National Fazio.
