PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. - Dawson Jones from Howell, NJ only made one bogey in 36 holes en route to his 10th win on the MLGT. On the Fazio course at PGA National Jones made 12 birdies and an eagle for a 36 hole total of 131 and a four shot win over Canon Claycomb and Andrew Riley. Jones earned $2,500 from the $13,601 purse.
17 of the 41 players chose to enter Qualifying School Contest #4 presented by Britto & Herman Injury Lawyers. Dawson Jones fired 131 (65-66) to earn the $5k bonus to use for his Q-School entry fee.
In a second day shootout Thursday among players who shot 73 or higher Wednesday, Ian Masenheimer and John Cammarano won $150 each with a final round score of 72.

Tyler Stachkunas and Canon Claycomb are three back and tied for 3rd after opening round's of 67.
