PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. - Domenico Geminiani from Lugo, Italy survived a three hole playoff with Austin Hitt at The Nest to earn his 14th win on the MLGT. In regulation both men tied at 4-under par 50. They halved the first two playoff holes with par. On the 3rd Hitt missed the green and chipped to 5 feet for par. Geminiani had 20 feet for birdie and missed just on the low side and tapped in for par. Hitt's par putt to extend the playoff would lip out on the low side. Geminiani earned $1,194.50, Hitt $1,024.50 for the 2nd place finish.
The top 8 players (plus ties) from the regular event went to the island green 19th hole for a sudden death shootout where the furthest ball from the hole each round was eliminated. Hunter Bott outlasted everyone and won the shootout earning a $170 bonus. Luke Gifford was 2nd and earned $110 and Domenico Geminiani was 3rd and earned $50.
