JUPITER, Fla. – Mason Jacobs of Metropolis, Ill, birdied the third playoff hole for his second win since joining the MLGT in June. His victory earned him $550 from the $1,860 purse.
Jacobs, Robert Taylor of Inverness, FL and Douglas Ebe of Stockholm, Sweden, had tied at four under par 68. Ebe was eliminated when he bogeyed the first extra hole. Jacobs and Taylor halved the second with par-4's, then Jacobs’ 15 footer hung on the edge before falling into the hole at No. 3 for the win. Moments earlier, Taylor had missed from 16 feet. Taylor won a similar event last week at Hollybrook Golf & Tennis Club in Pembroke Pines.
