LAKE WORTH, Fla. - Albin Choi from Toronto, Canada continues his fine play winning in a playoff Monday on the West course at Fountains Country Club. He and Austin Lemieux (a) tied in regulation with 7-under par 64's. They halved the first extra hole with pars. On the 2nd Lemieux's birdie try from 15 feet just missed leaving the door open for Choi with his 5 foot birdie attempt.
His 7th MLGT win was worth $1,127. $800 from the $3,815 purse plus $232 from the bonus pool and a $95 skin. Austin won a $600 gift certificate to the PGA Tour Superstore for the solo 2nd place finish.
Choi recently finished 2nd at first stage of Korn Ferry Tour Qualifying. He heads to 2nd stage at Plantation Preserve GC 10/19-22. We wish him the best of luck on his pursuit for a PGA Tour card.
