JUPITER, Fla. - Dylan Meyer from Evansville, IN fired 130 (64-66) to win the 2022 Tour Championship presented by Joey D Golf by one shot. He earned $10,000 from the $48,790 purse plus $478 from the optional bonus pool.
MJ Maguire started the final round 5 behind Meyer but made a run on the back nine fueled by a hole in one on the par-3 15th. After 33 on the front he came home in 29 for a final round 62 and posted -11 and had to wait to see if Dylan would beat it. Meyer's bogied the difficult par-3 13th to fall back into a tie at -11 but birdied the next par 3 #15. After pars on 16 and 17 he found himself in a tough spot short and left of 18 green. He hit a great chip shot to 10" and tapped in for par to secure the victory.
After being the #1 amateur in the world, Meyer is trying to find his way onto the biggest stage in professional golf. This win will give him a lot of confidence heading into 2023 where he will look earn status on the Korn Ferry Tour and PGA Tour.
In a second day shootout Wednesay among players who scored 72 or higher Tuesday, Carr Vernon won $231 with a final day score of 68.

Ryan Skae is right on their heels and will begin the final round just one shot behind them.
