Ricardo Celia fires 133 (67-66) to win 2023 Major III on The Champ

PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. - Ricardo Celia from Miami, FL fired a final round 66 in difficult windy conditions to come from behind and win 2023 Major III. On the Champ course at PGA National, Celia made 10 birdies and 3 bogeys en route to a 2 shot win at 7-under par 133. He earned $10,000 from the $48,100 purse plus $467 from the bonus pool for a total of $10,467. This was Celia's 7th win on the MLGT and biggest MLGT check.

Carson Klawonn was alone in 2nd at 135 and earned $4,433. First round leader Brett Stegmaier and Kevin Aylwin tied for 3rd at 136.

In a second day shootout Tuesday among players who shot 72 or higher Monday, Chase Johnson and Flint Bekkers each won $216 with final round scores of 68.

A big thank you to PGA National and it's members for hosting Major III and providing the players a championship golf course to compete on.

PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. - Brett Stegmaier, David Erdy and Daniel Robinson share the first round lead of 2023 Major III at 4-under par 66. The Champ course at PGA National showed it's teeth on day one with a scoring average of nearly 2.5 over par.

14 players are within 2 shots of the lead which should make for an exciting final round.

There were two skins out worth $560 each. Click on any of the $ symbols under the skins/total tab to view the skins results.

There is an optional $50 2nd day shootout for players at 72 and higher. 100% of the entry goes into the purse and the top 33% and ties will earn a check. If you'd like to participate you must sign up and pay online before the first tee time on Tuesday.

40% of the field earns a check. $6k 1st prize at any number of players. $10K first prize @ 72 players. $1,000 added to the purse by the MLGT. Come play a MLGT Major on a PGA Tour venue!

You must be registered and paid 7 days prior to the event. If you withdraw after 8/21/23 there will be a $100 withdrawal fee.
