
WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - Daniel Barth Aas from Asker, Norway outlasted Ty Celone to earn his first win on the MLGT on the Eagle/Heron course at Okeeheelee GC. After the two men tied at 6-under par 64 they headed to the par-5 10th hole for the playoff. Both players hit good drives and Celone's second shot came up just short on the fringe from 275 yards away. Barth Aas was five yards closer and hit an incredible 3 wood to two and a half feet. After Celone got up and down for birdie Barth Aas tapped in the eagle putt for the win. He earned $1,400 while Celone collected $1,135.
Ryan Cole was alone in 3rd after a 5-under par 65 followed by Avery Schneider and Alex Pillar tied for 4th at 66.
Next on the schedule is the Sunshine State Classic on Wed-Thurs on the West course at Fountains Country Club in Lake Worth. 108 players are set to tee it up all eyeing the $10k first place check.
