
LAKE WORTH, Fla. - Luke Gifford from Boca Raton, FL needed extra holes at Fountains Country Club to earn his 8th win on the MLGT. He and Thomas Longbella tied in regulation at 4-under par 67 on a very windy day on the West course. On the first playoff hole both players hit quality approach shots. Gifford was first to putt from 10 feet and rolled it in the middle. Longbella was next from 6 feet and his putt missed just on the high side.
Gifford earned $1,763 which included bonus pool and skin money. Longbella earned $1,118 for the 2nd place finish.

Jeremey Rauch and Cameron Kuchar, the son of 9 time PGA Tour winner Matt Kuchar, tied for 3rd one shot out of the playoff. Kuchar is a senior in high school and has committed to play his college golf at Texas Christian University.
Next on the schedule is the Palm Beach County Open presented by Tremont Tues-Thurs April 7-9. Round one is at Park Ridge Golf Course, round two is at Okeeheelee Golf Course then the field is cut to 40% plus ties and the final round is played at Osprey Point Golf Course. 81 players are set to tee it up in search of the $8k first place check.
