PALM BEACH, Fla. – Brothers Luke and Michael Graboyes of Watchung, N.J., did not make a bogey in 27 holes Tuesday to win the 11th annual Par 3 Team Trilogy at the Palm Beach Par 3 Golf Club, the final tournament of the year on the Minor League Golf Tour.
They started with a scramble score of 20 (-7) on the back nine, opening with five straight birdies, added 25 (-2) with two birdies in a modified alternate shot format on the front, then returned to the back for four-ball stroke play, scoring 22 (-5) with five birdies for a 14 under par 67, winning by three strokes.
They received $900 apiece from the $9,710 purse. Heretofore, Luke, 24, had three MLGT victories, including his first start in September, 2017. Michael, 23, who joined the MLGT a year later, had one win.
There were three holes-in-one (pictured left to right): Ross Pringle, Titusville, PA, No. 4; Bradley Lankler, Westfield, NJ, No. 16 and Will Rosenfield, Baltimore, MD, No. 6.
Each of the 3 nines had a closest to the pin contest.

The 124th and final tournament of the year drew 42 two player teams. They opened with a scramble on the back nine which played about 1,246 yards. This was followed by a modified alternate shots event on the 1,326-yard front, then four-ball stroke play on the back. This was the MLGT's 14th Team Trilogy, the 11th to be played at the end of the season. The 17th season opens Jan. 2 at Jupiter Country Club.
