Michael Sweeney birdies the 2nd playoff hole to outlast Jamie Sindelar at Abacoa GC

JUPITER, Fla. - Michael Sweeney from Enfield, CT turned a birdie on the 2nd playoff hole into his 10th win on the MLGT. He and Jamie Sindelar tied in regulation at 5-under par 66. On the first playoff hole Sweeney lipped out for birdie from 30 feet. Sindelar had 8 feet for the win and missed just on the low side. On the 2nd playoff hole Sweeney drained his 7 foot birdie putt for the win after Sindelar missed from 20 feet.

Sweeney earned $1,400 from the $11,950 purse plus $236 from the bonus pool for a total of $1,636. Sindelar earned $900 for the 2nd place finish.

Brendan O'Reilly and Ryan Davis tied for 3rd one shot out of the playoff.

Next on the schedule is 2024 Qualifying School Contest #1 presented by Britto & Herman Injury Lawyers at PGA National Estate course. The winner will earn a $5k bonus to put towards the Q-School entry fee of their choice.
