BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. - Talented 16 year olf amateur Sohan Patel from Weston, FL birdied the 4th playoff hole to outlast Alex Vogelsong after the two men tied at 10-under par 130 on the West course at Indian Spring CC. Patel made 11 birdies and only 1 bogey in 36 holes and earnd his first win on the MLGT. Per USGA rules the maximum Patel is allowed to accept is $1,000. First place was $2,000 so the remaining $1,000 was distributed throughout the rest of the players that earned a check per MLGT policy.
Vogelsong earned $1,928 for the 2nd place finish.
Chase Koepka and Bennett Cotten tied for 3rd at 131 and earned $1,150 each. Koepka added $267 from the bonus pool for a total of $1,417 and Cotton added $154 in skins for a total of $1,304.
In a second day shootout Thursday among players who shot 69 or higher Wednesday, Domenico Geminiani and Michael Sweeney won $100 each with a final round score of 65.

Alex Vogelsong and Rafael Echenique both birdied the final hole for opening round's of 65 and will enter the final round just one shot back.
