JUPITER, Fla. - Ryan Celano from Naples, FL needed 3 extra holes to earn his 3rd win on the MLGT. Celano and Michael Mays tied in regulation at 6-under par 65. They halved the first playoff hole with par then it appeared to be over on the 2nd when Celano's tee shot found the penalty area but he rolled in a 20 footer for par to stay alive. On the 3rd extra hole Mays had a long birdie bid from 50 feet while Celano had a birdie look from 20 feet. Mays left it 8 feet short and failed to convert after Celano 2 putted for par.
Today's event was the second of three this week that make up 2026 Monday Qualifier Contest #3 presented by Abacoa Golf Club. The player with the lowest cumulative score for the three events wins a $1k bonus to go compete in a Monday Qualifier on the PGA Tour or Korn Ferry Tour.
