Mac Mcclear fires 66 at Okeeheelee GC to earn his first professional win

Ryan Davis 2nd at 68 followed by four players tied for 3rd at 69

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - Mac Mcclear from Hinsdale, IL overcame his lone bogey on the par-5 15th with birdies at 3,7,10,11 and 17 for a 4-under par 66 on the Eagle/Heron course at Okeeheelee GC to earn his first professional win. He earned $1,350 from the $8,562 purse. Mcclear was on the waiting list for this event but a last minute withdrawl got his in the field and he made the most of it!

Ryan Davis was 2nd alone at 68 and earned $1,078. Arthur Ouimet V, Anton Hansson, Hans Risvaer (a) and Aiden Spampinato (a) tied for 3rd after rounds of 69.

The Tour Championship presented by Abacoa GC and BlueTide Insurance is set to begin tomorrow at Abacoa Golf Club. 90 players all have their eyes on the $12k first place check.
