
LAKE WORTH, Fla. - Taylor Kay-Green from Needham, MA birdied the first playoff hole to earn his first professional win at Atlantic National Golf Club. Taylor and Matthew Soucinek tied in regulation at 12-under par 130. In regulation Soucinek was 3 shots off the lead on the par-3 15th tee. His 7 iron from 170 yards never left the flagstick and went in for an ace! Then he holed a 30 yard pitch shot for eagle on the par-5 finishing hole to finish at 12-under par. Taylor made 8 birdies and no bogies including birdying 3 of the last 4 holes to finish at 12-under par. On the first playoff hole both players hit great approach shots to the par 4. Soucinek was first to putt from 6 feet and lipped out. Taylor then had just 3 feet for birdie to earn the win and poured it right in the middle.

In a second day shootout Tuesday among players who shot 69 or higher Wednesday, Peter Knade won $214 with a final round score of 66.
LAKE WORTH, Fla. - Tyler Strafaci, Paul DiFranco III and Nate Jordi all matched 6-under par 65's on day one at Atlantic National Golf Club to share the opening round lead.
Raoul Menard is one back entering the final round. Four more players are tied for 5th after opening rounds of 67.
